Using Publisher...

Submitted by pkavalam on Thu, 02/05/2009 - 14:59

Hey!

So, I tried uploading a Publisher file, but I don't think it's allowed. I tried converting it into a PDF but it got kind of grainy and not so nice looking. Are there any other options?

It's my prized hanko sheet, so I would love to share it!

Thanks so much!

Hey Pam,

unfortunately, our system can't read Publisher files. Converting it to Word or PDF format is definitely the way to go.

You should be able to adjust the PDF output so that it isn't grainy.

If you're exporting the file (or using Save As...) in publisher, look for an option to specify the quality of the PDF or images within the PDF.

Another option is to install PDFCreator, which creates a fake "pdf printer" on your computer that you can then print to from any application... It's pretty cool. instead of your document coming out of a printer on paper, it gets spit out as a PDF file on your computer (and you can print to it - i.e. create a PDF file - from any program on your computer).

Let me know if that helps.
