Teaches students different kinds of hand gestures from the U.S. (But of course, not all of them!)
Pages: 2
How to use:
This lesson is really fun for me (maybe more so than the kids) because I make them do the gestures themselves when we go over the answers. The first page is the answer sheet and the second is the worksheet for the students. I think most are self-explanatory...but #13 is blowing a raspberry and #12 is shrugging (I wanted to keep it all smileys...and the only one I found was one "raising the roof"!)
I gave the worksheets to the students, had them fill them in by writing the English below each picture. The first 2-3 people to finish can get hanko points. We go over the answers and all of us do the gestures at the end. My kids really liked #13 and #10 (but none of them knew Home Alone!).
This looks really fun. i think Ill try it with my new first years.
Thanks!
I find this very interesting and fun. I'm sure my students will enjoy this. Thank you!!
