How to use:
Preparation:
For Activity 1:
Print out the worksheet, cut out each column for the 12 characters and paste them onto strips of construction paper.
For Activity 2:
Print out the worksheet for the number of students you have, and mark them so that each student knows which character they are.
Procedure:
Activity 1:
1) Give each student a card with the character and the 4 things they like.
2) Demo the activity: Find a partner and ask them 4 questions:
- What sport do you like?
- What fruit do you like?
- What color do you like?
- What animal do you like?
When both students have asked each other the questions, exchange the cards.
3) Find another partner and continue.
Activity 2:
1) Give each student the worksheet, with one character marked (or they can choose their own character).
2) Find a partner and ask them the 4 questions above.
3) Based on their answers, the student guesses who their partner is.
4) The partner does the same and they can either keep or exchange their worksheets.
5) Find another partner and continue.
