Students will learn names for countries in English and practice asking each other where they are from.

Pages: 7

How to use:

Print in color on heavy paper and cut out cards. Laminate if desired. Give each student random cards. Students circulate and janken to see who asks first. Students ask each other "Are you from ______." Other student answers, " Yes, I am from ______" or "No, I am not from _______." If student has the country card in the question, they must answer yes and give it to the questioner. At the end of the time, students with the most of one country wins. You can change the rules; maybe you want students to have one of each country to win. Change number of cards handed out depending on class size and preference.
